Description
Role:  To manage and lead the activities and personnel of the Private Banking and Business Banking departments, ensuring the department meets organizational, financial, operational, sales and service, and growth plans. Further responsibilities include managing a portfolio of existing members and acquiring new relationships to the Credit Union. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 50%    Conduct outbound business development geared towards corporate deposits and high net worth individual deposits and treasury products. 20%    Partner with Business Banking & Commercial Lending to successfully onboard the most complex C&I companies and high net worth individuals within the Private Bank. 20%    Manage the Freedom First Treasury Department and expand it’s presence and effectiveness. 10%    Service existing deposit portfolio consisting of both corporate and consumer deposits. Performance Measurements: Must comply with government and other regulations affecting the credit union industry including, but not limited to, OFAC and the Bank Secrecy Act. Meets or exceeds performance expectations as described in Essential Functions and Responsibilities. Please refer to Annual Performance Goal document for remaining Performance Measurements. Knowledge and Skills: Experience    Five or more years sales experience.  Education    Bachelor's degree in finance, business, marketing or equivalent  Interpersonal Skills    Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.  Other Skills    Series 7 and 63 licensing is preferred. Skill and ability to use and operate a keyboard (typewriter), computer, calculator, fax machine, copier and telephone. Skill and ability to read and understand financial statements, contracts, applications, computer printouts, manuals and other related materials.
