What the Role Offers Reporting to the SVP, Professional Services (Delivery), the VP, Professional Services is responsible for driving customer growth through cloud and off‑cloud service offerings across the Customer Success pillars: Professional Services, Education, Managed Services, and Success. The role focuses on developing and managing service offerings by defining solutions that align to customer needs, establishing profitability targets, and measuring adoption to guide investment decisions for new service packages. This role requires operational expertise, customer focus, understanding of cloud delivery models, strategic thinking, transformational leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions to drive organizational growth. Key Responsibilities Assist with the design, implementation, and launch of high‑value service offerings Consistently review overall professional services offerings, including assessing OpenText solutions using analytics to evaluate, prioritize, and increase demand Monitor and control solution offerings and resources; assess risks, challenges, financial viability, scope, adoption, and quality Measure solution and delivery outcomes; iterate proactively to ensure desired results are achieved Review the delivery lifecycle to ensure alignment between desired outcomes and commitments made during demand management Act as a trusted advisor by increasing visibility and streamlining governance Leverage industry expertise to ensure baseline categories for Professional Services align to the OpenText Customer Journey: – Consulting Services (e.g., Industry Solutions, Assurance Services) – Adoption Services (e.g., onboarding, implementation) – Managed Services – On‑Demand Services – Success Offerings – Education Services Before launching Professional Services solutions, ensure each category follows a structured design methodology linking service offerings to measurable customer value Develop optimal pricing recommendations and an accelerated profitability model for each offering Create a customer engagement model to drive service adoption, aligned to the customer’s information management journey Develop a cost‑effective go‑to‑market strategy that supports sales, adoption, expansion, and renewal of subscription‑based services Determine required skills and resource capacity to successfully launch and sustain new solution offerings Partner with Sales Enablement and Marketing (Services) to ensure teams are educated and able to effectively articulate the value of Professional Services to customers Highlight customer success stories that demonstrate the impact and value of OpenText solutions This position will also lead the Innovation and AI Workstream and overs the global tools and reporting initiatives. What you need to Succeed: 15+ years’ experience in Product Management or Service Delivery with exposure to building and managing Software‑as‑a‑Service, Platform‑as‑a‑Service, and/or Managed Services offerings Strong understanding of cloud architecture and fundamentals of subscription‑based service definition Experience developing and executing global go‑to‑market strategies for new service offerings at scale High business acumen with strong financial and metrics‑driven decision‑making skills Demonstrated leadership with ability to coordinate cross‑functional resources outside direct management Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly at all leadership levels Ability to work effectively across organizational silos and lead cross‑functional teams through complex situations Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple high‑impact projects in a fast‑paced environment Ability to quickly identify and interpret business changes and communicate implications to executives and sponsors.
