Reporting directly to the Chief Customer Officer, this Vice President will own the strategy, design, delivery, and revenue across our global professional services practice. At Smartsheet, this high-performing team of 250+ professionals delivers the technical, operational, and consultative perspective that enables our customers’ success with the Smartsheet platform. At a current revenue of $70M annually, the ProServe practice is poised to grow and deliver even more value to customers and our business. You will: Lead a team of 250+ global Professional Services team members, including TAM, Delivery Consultants, Architects, Customer Training, and PS Engineering Lead the process of building a multi-year vision and strategy for Professional Services as a force multiplier for Smartsheet solutions Create a teaming model for partnering with sales, support, customer success, and the channel team on a cohesive approach to enterprise account success Consistently deliver a balanced P&L, via strong Professional Services Sales strategy, margin and utilization optimization, and customer-centric execution and project delivery Provide coaching and guidance to help each PS Service Line leader grow and optimize their business and offering portfolio Deeply understand the needs of our customers / marketplace to propose additional service offerings or service lines that advance customer adoption and increase the value of the Smartsheet work platform Incubate the PS Partner Success function so that we have both a vibrant partner services ecosystem and market recognition as the premium services organization for CWM Mature our global rate structures and enhance our contracting mechanisms in areas of fixed fee, prepaid, and innovative ARR style services while maintaining the health of our consulting and implementation businesses Ensure PS is a strategic selling asset for our field, and a strong partner to product, success and support bringing the customer voice to bear on the evolution of our products Create and Monetize IP in areas of CWM, PPM, Martech to accelerate value and reduce implementation friction You have: 15+ years experience leading services delivery across Commercial and Enterprise segments – experience delivering upon P&L expectations in a Public and/or >$1Bn SaaS company preferred 10+ Experience defining and evolving delivery methodology and definitions of roles and practice teams Solution Domain knowledge in areas such as Project and Portfolio Management (PPM), Marketing Technology, Workflow, Automation, and Collaborative Work Management is preferred Ability to influence across the C-Suite with desire and ability to lead in a matrixed, highly-complex environment Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and motivate globally distributed, high-performing teams Global, Offshore, Nearshore Delivery and Partner/Channel delivery experience highly desirable Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent discipline; MBA preferred Current US Perks & Benefits: HSA, 100% employer-paid premiums, or Buy-up medical/vision and dental coverage options for full-time employees 401k Match to help you save for your future (50% of your contribution up to the first 6% of your eligible pay) Monthly stipend to support your work and productivity Flexible Time Away Program, plus Sick Time Off US employees are automatically covered under Smartsheet-sponsored life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability plans US employees receive 12 paid holidays per year Up to 24 weeks of Parental Leave Personal paid Volunteer Day to support our community Opportunities for professional growth and development including access to Udemy online courses Company Funded Perks, including a counseling membership, local retail discounts, and your own personal Smartsheet account Teleworking options from any registered location in the U.S. (role specific) Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity.
