JOB DESCRIPTION
AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Program Director to focus on New Jersey transportation clients.
In this critical role, you will be entrusted with managing a portfolio of projects, staff, and client accounts. Your primary objective will be to strategically work with the NJ Surface Transportation Lead to expand AECOM’s market share for NJ-based clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Large-scale Transportation Program Management, Project Management and Project Controls, with NJ-based agency standards and procedures, with a focus on heavy-highway and/or bridge design.
In tandem with the NJ Surface Transportation Lead, execute marketing strategies for growth, with a focus on NJ-based agencies.
Lead project capture teams and prepare proposals with utmost precision.
Lead and manage a team of Senior Project Managers, ensuring contract deliverables are met with minimal supervision.
Represent AECOM in client meetings, providing authoritative updates on project progress.
Represent AECOM at professional events, and take an active role on committees, boards, etc.
Develop and implement comprehensive project scopes, work plans, and schedules.
Assume full responsibility for overall project management, including technical aspects, financial oversight, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction.
Implement strategic training, mentoring, and development programs for staff.
Proactively identify potential budget and schedule impacts, formulating contingency plans.
Drive innovation in design and delivery methodologies to maintain AECOM’s competitive edge.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS + 12 years of related NJ experience, including 4 years of leadership
NJ PE
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
20 years of related experience
Specialize in Transportation engineering and Transportation Program Management, within the NJ Markets
Affiliated with professional organizations
Experience with NJTA and SJTA preferred
Experience with NJDOT and/or NJ Counties a plus
