Description:
Our Lady of the Lake Health is seeking an accomplished and dynamic leader to join our team as the Vice President, Regional Chief Operating Officer (VP, RCOO) . This senior executive position is responsible for driving the development and execution of strategic initiatives and overseeing the operational management of regional operations.
The VP, RCOO will play a pivotal role in evaluating opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness, improve quality, and ensure that patient needs are met throughout the entire continuum of care. By partnering with hospital administrators, physicians, community leaders, and key system colleagues, the VP will lead efforts to promote Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System operational standards, drive service line growth, and streamline processes to improve care delivery across the region.

Job Function :
- Strategic Leadership and Operations
- Administers programs and services that integrate hospital resources, provide high-quality health care services, and achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Researches opportunities for increased market share and expansion of existing and/or new service areas within market.
- Proactively monitors and analyzes key performance indicators, implementing corrective actions when appropriate, to maximize performance, quality, patient satisfaction, and achieve revenue and operating income budget.
- Directs the development of operating, capital equipment, and labor budgets for departments within assigned division and ensures consistency with organizational goals and objectives. Monitors performance of assigned departments, analyzes budget variances, and ensures responsive action.
- Quality and Performance Improvement
- Assists in the creation and development of quality health care programs and services that support overall market goals and objectives and community health care needs.
- Ensures policies and procedures are consistent with the mission and the operating goals and objectives of the market. Monitors the utilization and application of policies and procedures to ensure high quality health care services.
- Analyzes, evaluates, and provides recommendations on the quality and efficiency of services provided by assigned departments.
- Collaboration and Partnership
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including leaders across FMOLHS and the Baton Rouge market, physicians, vendors, and community leaders.
- Serves as a member of market executive leadership team by participating in the development and implementation of plans, policies, and programs, and the formation of goals, objectives, and strategies.
- Serves on health system and market committees and attends meetings to provide consultation and recommendations.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, Joint Commission, OSHA and other regulatory standards.
- Works in conjunction with regulatory, safety and clinical departments on regulatory issues.

- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
10 years relevant work experience in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or related field, with a track record of success in driving growth and improving efficiencies
EDUCATION
Master’s degree
