This role will oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of revenue recognition policies, analyze and document accounting treatment for new service offerings, manage a high-performing accounting team, and partner cross-functionally to support strategic growth initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of revenue accounting principles, along with the ability to navigate ambiguity and to enhance revenue accounting processes.   We are committed to fair and transparent compensation. The salary range for this role is based on several factors including experience, skills, and qualifications and is $170,000 to $200,000.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities  * Lead all aspects of revenue recognition, including contract review, policy development, process optimization, and technical accounting analysis.  * Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue in compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards in accordance with monthly, quarterly and annual requirements.  * Oversee close processes related to revenue, including reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis.  * Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and FP&A teams to review revenue contracts and new service offerings to assess and document technical accounting implications.  * Develop and maintain internal controls over revenue processes to align with SOX compliance standards.  * Provide technical guidance and training to accounting staff and business partners.  * Prepare and present revenue-related analyses and reports to executive leadership.  * Develop and implement scalable revenue policies, procedures, and systems to support revenue growth and to improve efficiency and accuracy across accounting operations.  * Collaborate with FP&A, treasury, and other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.  * Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy including through the application of AI tools.  * Manage interactions with external auditors for revenue accounting.
