Supported by a team of professionals skilled in design, sourcing, production, sales, marketing & distribution of premium quality children’s wear, Haddad distributes globally to 100+ countries and maintains sales and sourcing offices in 22 cities globally, including New York, Paris, Hilversum, Shanghai, Egypt, Bangkok, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, London and Montreal Overview: The Vice President of Sales will define and oversee the strategy, vision and execution of the division’s business. Key Accountabilities: Partner with cross functional leadership to ensure division alignment to drive the company’s strategic initiatives Partner with licensor’s executives to develop and execute a holistic approach to drive business strategy on a brand level Work closely with licensor to understand the brand aesthetic and seasonal strategy to effectively lead and manage the sales team Oversee all aspects of account management, including brand strategy, pricing models and inventory management Partner with Merchandising on the directed assortment process and ensure distribution segmentation to drive year over year adoption rate for the total business Develop and execute three-year financial plans, including pricing and seasonal strategies, by account Responsible for organizing all market appointments, client trips, and presentation preparation Provide updated data for all corporate licensing meetings Manage monthly sales performance by account (including sales booked and shipped) to ensure goals are being met and provide competitive market analysis by category Partner with merchandising and design to identify new product opportunities Collaborate with the Visual/Marketing team to position brand properly from an in-store perspective Work cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Merchandising and Sales teams on retailer analysis to optimize results Travel to account(s) as required to present product, strategy and financial targets for seasonal sell-in Recruit top talent, train, develop and motivate team members Special projects as assigned Requirements Required Skills/Abilities/Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration or related field 10+ years of experience in the wholesale fashion industry Ability to travel as needed (up to 40%) Strong communication, presentation and organization skills Must be a strategic thinker, persuasive and collaborative Ability to lead and motivate sales team Ability to understand, interpret and execute the brand’s needs Consistent in-office presence is vital to the role as it is for all Haddad Brands team members, so that we all have a full appreciation, aesthetically and tactilely, of the qualities that define our brand partners’ products and set them apart from their competitors.
