Job Summary: The VP of Sales at EndeavorB2B is a senior executive responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy to drive significant, profitable revenue growth across our diverse portfolio of B2B media, events, and marketing services. This visionary leader will oversee the entire B2B sales organization, focusing on scaling high-performing teams, penetrating new markets, and maximizing yield from existing client relationships. The VP of Sales is a critical member of the leadership team, expected to align sales strategies with overall business objectives, leverage deep B2B media industry knowledge, and maintain rigorous accountability through data-driven forecasting and sales operations excellence. Ultimately, this role is accountable for meeting and exceeding all quarterly and annual revenue targets while fostering a collaborative, client-centric sales culture. Essential Job Functions: Strategic Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth: * Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for both the Small Business and Mid-Market segments, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives. * Drive consistent attainment and often over-attainment of ambitious revenue targets and KPIs across both teams. * Oversee the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation and qualification to deal closure, CRM usage and best practices, ensuring robust forecasting and predictable results.   Ensure vigorous maintenance of the sales pipeline for accuracy, required number of opportunities and timely cleansing of pipeline. Strive for a pipeline conversion rate of 30%. * Teach and ensure consistent application of the mid-market sales playbook and the small business sales playbook methodologies. * Collaborate closely with marketing, sales support, and other shared services divisions to support high volume, low dollar sales through implementation of automated and innovative workflows to support reps in delivering personalized client service at scale. * Identify market opportunities and competitive trends within the small business and mid-market landscapes to inform strategic adjustments and innovative sales approaches. * Lead the adoption of best practices in consultative selling, solution selling, and strategic account management across both teams of sales representatives, adapting methodologies to segment-specific needs by using the mid-market and small business playbooks. * Frequent customer interaction. * Usage of Seismic as a coaching tool. * Contribute to the strategy and vision of the brand market groups * Understanding and proactive collaboration with their editorial and audience counterparts to implement blue triangle initiatives to grow the business.  Team Leadership & Talent Development: * Recruit, hire, onboard, and continuously develop a high-performing team of Small Business Sales Representatives and Mid-Market Sales Representatives. * Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance management to elevate individual and team capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability that is focused on delivering value to clients. * Implement effective sales training programs focused on product knowledge, sales methodologies, digital marketing expertise, and client engagement skills relevant to each segment. * Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment that motivates teams to exceed expectations and drives employee engagement. Digital Marketing & Sales Expertise Guidance: * Provide strategic guidance to both teams on effective digital marketing strategies. * Ensure teams can articulate value beyond clicks/impressions. * Guide teams in leveraging analytics to inform client strategies and demonstrate impact. * Instill a deep understanding of the client journey within each segment, from initial pain points for small businesses to complex strategic objectives for mid-market clients. Business Acumen & Market Strategy: * Possess a keen understanding of diverse industries within the small business and mid-market segments, including their unique market dynamics and competitive landscapes. * Guide teams in aligning Endeavor's solutions with clients' broader marketing and sales goals and digital transformation initiatives, including cross-sell and upsell opportunities. * Emphasize cost-effectiveness and delve into financial metrics. * Direct the creation of structured campaign plans with clear objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) tailored to each client's specific business outcomes. * Develop sales quotas, territories, and assist with the annual budgeting process. * Manage brand and sales administrative duties. Core Competencies: * Drive proficiency in CRM systems for robust pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and data-driven decision-making across all teams. * Ensure teams are proficient in utilizing collaboration tools and effectively leveraging internal resources to support sales efforts. * Oversee the implementation of efficient sales processes and tools that enhance productivity and effectiveness for both Small Business and Mid-Market teams. Qualifications: * 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in digital marketing, advertising technology, SaaS, or a related field. * Proven track record of managing and scaling sales teams across multiple segments, specifically within the small business (or growth) and mid-market client bases. * Demonstrated success in consistently achieving and exceeding multi-million dollar revenue targets. * Strong strategic planning abilities with a history of developing and executing successful sales initiatives. * Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing sales professionals. * Deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, key performance metrics, and industry trends across various business sizes. * Superior presentation, negotiation, and communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to engage and influence at all organizational levels. * Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales analytics. * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated proficiency through relevant work experience required. * Experience in Infrastructure or Construction markets preferred * Ability to travel as required to meet business needs, including client visits and industry events. We are excited to share the expected salary for this position is $174,500. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. If you are hired for this position at EndeavorB2B your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as hiring location, skillset, prior years’ experience, relevant education, certain degrees and certifications, training, and market considerations. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
