Responsibilities

  • High appreciation of macro market outlook, especially around the Singapore economy and government policies, interest rate environment, liquidity situation; and emerging trends around consumer behaviours, digitalisation, industry developments etc.?
  • Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to manage the business for sustainable growth, market leadership and P&L outcome.
  • Lead design and implementation of thoughtful Customer Journey/Employee Journey, leveraging digitization, eco-system thinking and data, to create joyful banking with lower cost of acquisition and higher productivity.
  • Collaboratively work with internal and external partners to deliver Bancassurance KPIs through strategic initiatives, product development and tactical programs
  • Employ Data-Driven Operating Model (DDOM)/Control Towers to have a deep understanding of both financial and productivity drivers and leverage data-driven insights to optimize operational processes and enhance overall performance.
  • Collaborate with the MtJ Performance Cell/Squad to develop omnichannel strategies, utilizing AIML/GenAI to drive Customer and Business/Productivity outcomes.
  • Work closely with COO/Advisory Surveillance to achieve tight oversight and agile and robust processes, leveraging technology and innovation with strong appreciation of risk management and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Min Bachelor’s degree/University degree with 10+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Experience managing in matrixed environment including cross functional areas (e.g. risk & governance, finance, product management, marketing, operations)
  • Working knowledge of the different systems, theories, and practices relevant to a function as well as practical experience of multiple business cycles
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with high agility.?
  • Good organizational, stakeholder and project management skills?
  • Resourceful, creative, and independent with good communication skills
