SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Vice President of Strategic Sourcing is responsible for developing and leading the Supply Chain Management Team which includes Sourcing, Purchasing, and Warehouse team members. This role is a pivotal and strategic position within the organization.
Job Duties:

Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:

  • Interacts with Seniors executive team, participates in developing and executing company strategy to achieve the company’s short- and long-term goals.
  • Develops, implements, and enforces company Procurement Policy and strategies.
  • Drives continuous improvement of Supply Chain Management, implementing PDCA cycle and other continuous improvement (CI) principles.
  • Leads systematic cost reduction programs to achieve industry leading agreements and process to drive least cost supply chain opportunities.
  • Manages, develops, and mentors direct and indirect reports in Supply Chain Management Team (Sourcing, Purchasing, and Warehouse).
  • Supervises work of directors and managers, including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work, ensuring quality standards.
  • Responsible for hiring, terminating, training, and developing, reviewing performance, and administering corrective action for staff.
  • Ensures supply chain processes meet legal, SOX, and ethical requirements and standards.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and maintaining company policies that adhere to local, state, and federal environmental, health and safety regulations.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications:

Qualifications: - Includes but is not limited to:

  • Demonstrate leadership and management ability with excellent interpersonal skills to effectively form collaborative team relationships with senior leadership and departments to support RWLV’s expense and capital goals.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate aspects such as quality, cost, and delivery schedules.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Business and organizational management skills.
  • Knowledge of project management and continuous improvement principles.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Applications (example Word, Excel).
  • Strong Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and core processes (Procure to Pay, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Control).
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
  • Accounting skills managing budgets.
  • Effective analytical, troubleshooting, and cognitive problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills to maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in tracking and reporting procurement, inventory, and sourcing performance.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to successfully mentor a team.

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of Birchstreet.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a similar or related field.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • Previous experience working in a Shared Service environment.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in purchasing, supply chain, sourcing role - including both direct and indirect supply chains, in a similar or related field.
  • At least 5 years of leadership/management experience in a similar or related field.
  • Previous Vice President level management experience.
  • Experience processing, manipulating, formatting, and analyzing large quantities of data.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Position required licenses.
