Description
Autobrains’ affordable autonomous driving platform connects edge agents running on low compute with a cloud-based digital twin and fleet intelligence engine. We are looking for a hands-on, highly technical VP System Engineering & Fleet to lead system integration, performance, safety, and large-scale fleet operations. Responsibilities • Lead system engineering, integration, validation, and performance optimization across our full AD stack (perception, behavior, planning, cloud, safety). • Own the fleet intelligence loop: data pipelines, telemetry, simulation-during-driving, over-the-air updates, and real-time cloud reasoning. • Manage vehicle-level architecture, compute budgets, sensor configuration, and edge–cloud orchestration. • Drive large-scale testing: on-road fleets, simulation, digital twins, corner cases, and safety certification alignment. • Work directly with OEM and Tier1 engineering teams to deliver production programs at scale. • Build and lead a multi-disciplinary systems group (software, hardware, validation, cloud, safety). Requirements • 10+ years in system engineering for automotive, robotics, or large distributed AI systems. • Deep understanding of ADAS/AD architecture, compute constraints, and real-time systems. • Experience with fleet data, cloud telemetry, OTA, simulation, or large-scale validation frameworks. • Ability to manage complex cross-functional programs end-to-end — from architecture to deployment. • Strong leadership, clarity, and technical depth.
