Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a VP- SYSTEM IT SOLUTIONS & SERVICES to join our INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY team!
The Vice President of IT Solutions and Services is a key leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction of the Information Technology (IT) department. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, this role oversees the Application Division, ensuring effective application portfolio management, integration management, and the selection and implementation of IT solutions. The Vice President plays a critical role in advancing the organization’s IT strategies, including digital health, artificial intelligence, and inpatient care transformation. Additionally, they collaborate closely with other IT leaders to ensure robust cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives, while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards.
This position demands strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills. The Vice President is expected to inspire and guide their team, foster a positive work environment, and uphold the organization’s values through integrity and resilience. They are also responsible for creating multi-year IT strategies aligned with Aspirus’ strategic goals, enhancing operational processes, and driving innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems (with a master’s degree preferred) and have at least ten years of IT leadership experience, showcasing a track record of effective project management, process improvement, and strategic planning.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems required. Master’s degree in computer science, Business or Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Minimum of ten years of IT leadership experience, showcasing a track record of effective project management, process improvement, and strategic planning.
  • Possesses analytical skills necessary to develop and implement appropriate changes to programs and to oversee and direct work of assigned subordinates.
  • Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills to work effectively with a team environment. Thorough knowledge of operational processes and process improvement beneficial.
