Vice President – Security Settlement and Funds Operations
Business Functions
In Wealth Management Operations, we support the day to day trades processing of the Wealth business of the consumer banking arm. The incumbent will lead a team of operations staffs and support new initiatives from the business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Security Settlement and Funds Ops Team (product coverage: Equities, Bonds and funds)
• Process trade order placement and settlement of Mutual Funds, Hedge Fund, Private asset fund and Corporate Action events
• Process on-boarding requests for Funds and support on any new fund launch or on-boarding requests received from Product
• Servicing of Reverse enquiry request from client on fund subscription / transfer in not in bank’s approved list
• Ensures full compliance to all policies and regulations including SFA’s T+X+1. Complete adherence to SLAs with Wealth Business and other internal and external customers.
• Ensure daily exception reports/nostro/custodian and inter system reconciliation breaks are being promptly follow up and resolved.
• Regular update of Standard Operating Procedures to align with process / system changes
• Review user requirement on system changes for UAT and participate in UAT testing
• To engage Business to improve operation processing flow supported by Operation’s team
• Engage with product team on new product initiatives to ensure Operations process is being assessed before implementation
• Review Staff performance and growth development

Requirement

• At least 10 years experience in a Private banking /Wealth management environment in operation.
• Adequate Knowledge in Investment products namely Equities, Bonds, Mutual funds, Hedge and Private Equity Fund
• Functional knowledge/experience in backoffice support is required
• Adequate knowledge in market regulations and application of bank’s risk policy
• Having Good thought Leadership and Motivational skill.
