JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced, visionary VPII of Technology to lead our technology strategy and delivery with a focus on harnessing the power of AI and emerging technologies. You will be responsible for driving innovation, overseeing architecture, and scaling our platforms to support growth. This is a senior leadership position that requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a strong ability to lead high-performing teams.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 10 Years in technical leadership roles, including 3 years as a senior leader.
  • Minimum of 15 Years of experience within a combination of .NET, Angular, React and JavaScript, SQL Server, AWS (container and sever-less), Git, Visual Studio and/or front-end technologies including CSS, Semantic HTML and Responsive Design.
  • Strong background in software architecture, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure
Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Vision

  • Define and execute a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap to modernize systems, increase NPS, reduce call drivers and delight advisors as well as the end clients.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating them where appropriate.
  • Lead the identification, assessment, and implementation of AI/ML capabilities, including generative AI, predictive analytics, and automation opportunities.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Build and lead high-performing teams across software engineering, DevOps, and data.
  • Build a culture of experimentation, innovation, technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee hiring, performance management, and career development.

Architecture & Product Development

  • Own architectural decisions and ensure scalability, reliability, and security of systems.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to deliver innovative features.
  • Ensure the use of responsible AI, model governance and data ethics.
  • Translate complex technical solutions into clear business impact for stakeholders and executives.

Operations & Infrastructure

  • Ensure systems uptime, monitoring, and incident response meet SLA standards.
  • Optimize infrastructure cost and performance (e.g., cloud strategy, CI/CD pipelines).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, EPMO, business, operations and product partners and deliver outcomes.
