About the Role The Victorian Palliative Medicine Training Program (VPMTP) provides a state-wide training program for advanced palliative medicine trainees, building a skilled workforce across Victoria. You’ll coordinate the annual statewide recruitment process and meetings, manage communications, track actions, and support the education program, working closely with a passionate, multi-professional team. Classifications for this position will range from HS2 - HS21 ($66,000 - $73,000) depending on experience, pro rata for part time. Position Purpose Reporting to the Medical Training Coordinator, the Administration Assistant provides high-level administrative support, enabling the team to focus on strategic workforce and education initiatives. Your Contribution Manage databases, distribution lists, correspondence, and website content. Coordinate meetings, agendas, materials, minutes, and action tracking. Coordinate statewide annual trainee recruitment; interviews, allocations, and the education program. Engage with stakeholders, including committees and trainees, with professionalism and discretion. Maintain financial records and assist with other administrative tasks as required. Support the palliative care services team as required. Certificate IV (or equivalent) in Office Administration. Strong experience in high-quality administrative support. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office; adaptable to other platforms (CGov experience [desirable]). Excellent organisational, time-management, and communication skills. High attention to detail and confidentiality.
