JOB SUMMARY

Amatrol is expanding, and we’re on the hunt for a skilled VR and AR Lead Applications Developer to join our Multimedia Development team! Are you ready to help us lead in immersive technology by creating cutting-edge virtual and augmented reality experiences? You’ll work with a dedicated team to design, develop, and refine VR/AR applications that power technical education. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering or Computer Programming (or equivalent technical experience & education)
  • Experience using VR head mounted displays.
  • Minimum 2 years experience creating VR or AR software.
  • Minimum 4 years experience with object-oriented programming, agile development methods, textual-format data entry, and multimedia (graphic, video, sound) editing tools
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of math and physics.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $63,000.00 - $78,750.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Assist Multimedia Development Manager with technical oversight, training, quality control, reporting, and other responsibilities to ensure timely delivery of high quality VR and AR applications.
  • Develop, design, create, edit, and test professional quality VR simulators and AR experiences to meet development and customer demand.
  • Maintain and improve VR/AR coding/development skills.
  • Track and report progress in collaboration with the rest of the development team.
