Description AllTerra Central is the dedicated dealer for Trimble Geospatial hardware and software solutions, as well as additional advanced positioning technologies. AllTerra Central operates the largest privately owned Trimble VRS Network (RTKNET) in the United States. The VRS Sales Specialist role will be to promote & sell RTKNET annual subscriptions. This is an excellent opportunity for a salesperson who is eager to learn, grow their sales capabilities, and earn outstanding commission along the way! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Continually prospect within various construction, survey, MGIS, and UAV trades to showcase our technology & services, and the benefits of the RTKNET. Cold-calling and heavy outside sales efforts are key to long-term, sustainable growth. Manage and maintain your opportunity pipeline and company/customer contact information, etc. within HubSpot CRM. As a consultative salesperson, it will be imperative that you become an expert on our product. You’ll be expected to quickly learn and effectively demonstrate how our product can significantly improve customer layout workflows. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide business analytics and insights to upper management to help steer tactics & strategy. Seek out and participate in industry trade associations that are relevant within this industry. The ability to comfortably engage with business executives, C-Suite management, and field-level personnel is paramount to success. Coordinate and consult with other sales team members about selling opportunities within their customer base. Requirements You’ll be part of a broader sales team within Allterra Central and will therefore be expected to manage internal relationships appropriately. In other words, you’ll be expected to build rapport with others within this organization. You’ll be expected to visit both customer offices and jobsites regularly within your territory. The ability to comfortably navigate construction sites is a requirement. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of Trimble field and office software: GNSS, MGIS, etc. Sales experience is preferred. Basic understanding of surveying, engineering, and/or construction is strongly preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: Strong attention to detail and adaptability to handle several tasks simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, SharePoint, and Teams. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be available to travel to customer and/or company locations as required. Flexibility to work past normal business hours as necessary. COMPUTER SKILLS/EQUIPMENT USED: General office equipment (computer, printer, fax, copy machine), scanner, calculator. Computer knowledge in a Windows environment.
Responsibilities
The primary duty is to continually prospect within construction, survey, MGIS, and UAV trades to promote and sell annual subscriptions for the RTKNET VRS Network through cold-calling and heavy outside sales. The specialist must also manage the opportunity pipeline using HubSpot CRM and become a product expert to effectively demonstrate workflow improvements to customers.
