Description Title: VTC Bridge Scheduler Location: Mark Center VA Clearance required: Secret Clearance Certification required by project: IAT Level 2 Requirements A Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Technician installs, maintains, and troubleshoots audio-visual and conferencing systems. They ensure seamless virtual communication by managing hardware like CODECs, cameras, and microphones, supporting virtual meetings, and resolving technical issues for end-users. Key Responsibilities System Operations: Set up, configure, and operate VTC endpoints, audio mixers, video matrix switches, and flat-panel displays. User Support: Provide Tier 2+ technical support, resolve trouble tickets, and offer concierge-level training to end-users and VIP staff. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct routine system checks, firmware updates, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal audio/video quality. Network Integration: Troubleshoot inter-device connections, network infrastructure (e.g., VLANs, IP settings), and protocols such as SIP or H.323. Asset & Scheduling Management: Manage conference room reservations, maintain equipment inventories, and document resolution Job Responsibilities: Schedules VTC sessions in VTC bridges, as well as debugging the interoperation of VTC bridges and end points Connects and monitors VTC meetings for all customers supported by Joint Service Provider (JSP) Bridge liaison between customer and far end COCOMs Supports NIPRNet, SIPRNet, Allied Secret and JWICS VTCs Installs, configures, and maintains VTC endpoints Installs and configures VTC applications, system software and upgrades Troubleshooting and repairing hardware and network connectivity issues Removes old equipment and performs data migration to new machines Qualifications Education: A high school diploma Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in A/V or VTC operations. Technical Skills: Familiarity with conferencing platforms (Cisco or GVS preferred). Physical Demands: Ability to sit for long periods of time. Clearance (For Defense/Gov Roles): Minimum Secret clearance
