Job Details Job Location: Richland, MS 39218 Salary Range: $20.00 - $40.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: Road Warrior Vacuum Truck Sales & Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Traveling Service Technician to join our Customer Service team. This position is ideal for a hands on professional with strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and delivering exceptional service to our customers across multiple states. As a Traveling Service Technician, you will perform on-site and off-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on vacuum trucks and related heavy equipment. This role requires frequent travel—up to 5 days per week, including occasional overnight stays— covering Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. Key Job Functions: Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vacuum trucks and heavy equipment. Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. Provide professional, courteous, and responsive service to customers in the field. Work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision. Maintain detailed service records, documentation, and reports using computer systems. Assist with product installations, system upgrades, and customer training as needed. Uphold company standards of safety, quality, and professionalism at all times. Other: Extensive travel will be required to service rental equipment onsite. Some overnights will be required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to travel up to 5 days per week, including overnight stays as needed. Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
