Our Security division is one of the fastest growing Cyber Security businesses in Australia and is split into three service areas: Red Team (Security Consulting & Penetration Testing) Blue Team (Security Architecture & Engineering) Security Operations Centre (SOC) As Vulnerability Remediation Analyst you will drive timely remediation of security vulnerabilities to reduce material risk to the business and organise Security Testing activities. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end remediation lifecycle for identified vulnerabilities. Translate technical findings into clear, actionable remediation tasks. Work directly with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to fix issues. Agree remediation plans, deadlines, and compensating controls where required. Track remediation progress and hold teams accountable to agreed timelines. Escalate stalled or high-risk items through defined governance paths. Validate fixes through retesting and evidence review. Reduce repeat findings through root cause analysis. Maintain accurate remediation metrics and risk reporting. Manage the scheduling and resource assignment for Security Testing Projects working with both client and internal stakeholders Schedule and book any kick off or technical walkthroughs meetings required for upcoming Security tests Coordinate any debrief meetings or report walkthroughs as required. Review vulnerability scan results to support prioritisation. Remove false positives that block remediation progress. Monitor threat activity to adjust remediation urgency. Experience coordinating vulnerability remediation at scale. Understanding of operating systems, networks, and common enterprise platforms. Ability to assess exploitability and realworld risk. Proven experience working with engineering and operations teams. Stakeholder management and negotiation skills. Experience with ticketing, SLAs, and risk acceptance workflows.
