Description We are growing at Jackson Automotive Group and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor at our reputable automotive dealership. If you have excellent skills, along with a friendly demeanor and strong organizational abilities, we want to hear from you! Job Responsibilities include but not limited to: Greet customers and listen to their description of the problems or service needed for their vehicles Determine the type of service required and prepare repair orders Coordinate with auto mechanics and schedule mechanical work orders Estimate costs, verify insurance, and write repair reports Conduct inspections and test drive cars Educate customers on preventative maintenance and recommend additional repairs if needed Maintain customer records and make follow-up contact Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail Prior experience working as an automotive service advisor Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs Comfortable with using computer software and systems Valid drivers license and reliable transportation Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen Benefits A competitive hourly rate or salary Commission or bonus opportunities based on sales Health insurance, dental insurance, and/or 401k options Paid time off and holidays Opportunity for advancement and growth within the company
