About ADF Health Services In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. This includes providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 45+ on-base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care. About Stirling Health Centre Located approximately 45km South of Perth, the Stirling Health Centre is on base at HMAS Stirling on Garden Island. This base has a 4km causeway that connects the island to the mainland of Rockingham, and the health centre itself offers physiotherapy, dentistry, pharmaceutical, general medical and outpatient services, and provides support to the Submarine and Underwater Medicine Unit. Its standard hours of operation are 0730-1600, Monday-Friday. Serco is a place for you As an Enrolled Nurse you will be responsible for providing outpatient assessment and health promotion services to patients, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. You will assess the level of care required for patients and set priorities accordingly, as well as initiating treatment for minor injuries and illnesses. To be successful in this role you’ll have: The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). 2 years full-time post registration nursing experience within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent), in an acute care, primary healthcare, or military setting. Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients. Please note: You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role. You don’t need to be enlisted in the Defence Force to work as a civilian on-base and your job stays here, even if the Defence personnel you care for are deployed.
