About the role A Traffic Control Technician (TCT) will perform a wide range of Traffic Safety, Traffic Control, and Flagging tasks to provide safety and support to our contractors on job sites or public/private roadways. This position is considered a safety-sensitive position per WA Law. What you'll do Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment Remain flexible as specific assignments change Work with a variety of personalities Work under pressure Understanding of basic flagging policies, procedures, rules, and state and federal laws Responsible for adding hours into a tablet for payroll and billing purposes Maintain the company vehicle in accordance with the fleet management requirements Read and understand traffic control plans Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Must have previous Traffic Control experience Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions Remain flexible as specific assignments change Work with a variety of personalities Work under pressure Understanding of basic flagging policies, procedures, rules, and state and federal laws Have at least 400 hours of road experience Valid state flagging certification Valid driver license, to operate company equipment/vehicle
