GUEST INTERACTION AND SERVICE

• Greeting and Seating: Welcoming guests warmly as they enter the establishment, and if there is no host, escorting them to a clean and prepared table.
• Menu Presentation and Recommendations: Presenting the menu, explaining daily specials, and answering questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens. This often involves having a thorough knowledge of the menu to make educated recommendations and upsell items like appetizers, desserts, and drinks.
• Order Taking: Accurately taking food and beverage orders from guests, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions, and entering them into a point-of-sale (POS) system or communicating them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serving and Delivery: Serving food and drinks to the correct tables and guests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring the order is correct and a high standard of presentation is met.
• Checking In: Periodically checking on guests throughout their meal to ensure their satisfaction, address any concerns, and refill drinks.
• Handling Payments: Presenting the bill, processing cash and credit card payments, and providing accurate change.
• Guest Relations: Building a rapport with guests, addressing complaints or issues with professionalism and patience, and inviting them to return.

  Pay: $30.00 – $37.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 38 per week
