WAIT STAFF

Byng Street Group Pty Ltd is looking for a full-time Wait Staff. Byng Street Group Pty Ltd operates across five locations in the Central West that are well patronized by locals and visitors to the region.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• AQF Certificate II or III qualification
• At least one year of relevant experience may be accepted in place of the formal qualifications listed above. In some cases, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be necessary in addition to formal qualifications.

· We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and enjoys working in a busy team environment
This is a fulltime position. Average 38 hours per week
Salary is range of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, plus superannuation commensurate with experience.

The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to:

• Arranging tables and setting them up
• Greeting customers and providing them with menus and beverage lists
• Taking orders and passing them to kitchen and bar staff
• Delivering food and beverages to guests
• Opening and pouring beverages
• Clearing tables and returning dishware and cutlery to the kitchen
• Removing empty bottles and glasses, refilling or replacing them as necessary
• Handling payments and operating point-of-sale systems
• May suggest wine pairings to complement the meal
