Description FlintCreek Cattle Co. is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and career-minded individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of steps of service and table maintenance. Looking for those who are dedicated and truly enjoy the service industry. Position includes hourly rate, tips, and if qualified, based on average hours worked, a health, dental, and vision plan after the measurement and administration periods. Servers practice tip pooling, and “tip sharing” or “tipping-out” into another tip pool. The FOH tip pool consists of bartenders and servers. The FOH staff tips out the kitchen and support staffed based on our tip sharing policies. The shared tips are then redistributed to tip-eligible employees working during a defined period of time that they were received. Wage Range and Benefits Hourly Wage is minimum wage (currently $21.30/hour), plus tips (based on our tip pooling and tip sharing policy). Full FOH tip pooling policy exists daily for all bartenders and wait staff. Sick pay is awarded at 1 hour per 40 hours worked. All PSSL is accrued and available for use in accordance with Washington State and local laws. Employee receives 5 designated unpaid days off - Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and the 4th of July (or observed). Medical, Dental, and Vision plan election available after 6-month lookback period if eligible based on hours worked (average of 30/week). Employer pays 50% of employee only medical coverage. Dependent/family coverage is available at full cost to the employee.Employee Assistance Program provided upon hire at no cost to employee. 50% Employee discount provided, for up to three additional guests if dining with you. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant. Enjoys food, wine, and spirit education. Understands service standards and attention to detail. Clean work habits and personal grooming. Resourceful and well organized. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Maintains knowledge of recipes, steps of service, policies, and procedures. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with co-workers. Self-motivated and punctual. A desire to grow and take constructive feedback.
Responsibilities
The wait staff is responsible for maintaining service standards and cleanliness while providing excellent customer service. They will also participate in tip pooling and collaborate with kitchen and support staff.
