JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. Your ability to upsell menu items and provide outstanding guest services will be key to your success in this role.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous restaurant experience is essential, particularly in a serving role.
  • Strong hospitality skills with a focus on providing excellent guest services.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen experience is an advantage.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours.
  • Culinary experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided as necessary.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

  • Take accurate food and drink using hand written checks
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
  • Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in making informed choices.
  • Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards during food preparation and serving.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
  • Manage time effectively to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
