Job Description We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter/ess to join our restaurant team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Waiter/ess, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests whilst providing attentive and efficient service. Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm and professional welcome Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and beverage recommendations Serve food and drinks in a timely and courteous manner Maintain a clean and organised dining area at all times Process payments and handle cash and card transactions accurately Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues professionally Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant Qualifications Previous experience as a waiter/ess in a high volume luxury hotel or resort environment Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on guest satisfaction Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively Good knowledge of food and beverage service techniques Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays Ability to memorise menu items and daily specials Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous Familiarity with Vietnamese cuisine and culture (preferred) Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends Willingness to work in Phu Quoc, Vietnam Additional Information What awaits you...
