Descrizione del lavoro Guest Relations: Greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present the menu. Order Management: Explain daily specials, answer questions regarding ingredients (including allergens), and suggest wine or beverage pairings. Service: Deliver food and drinks from the kitchen/bar to the tables promptly and safely. Customer Care: Monitor tables consistently to ensure guest satisfaction, handling any complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Payment Processing: Prepare bills, process payments (cash, credit cards), and bid guests a warm farewell. Mise en place: Prepare the dining room before service (setting tables, polishing glassware and cutlery) and perform closing duties at the end of the shift. Qualifiche Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, patience, and a problem-solving attitude. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and move quickly in a fast-paced environment. Attention to Detail: Strong memory for orders and the ability to remember regular customers' preferences. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate closely with kitchen staff and floor colleagues. Languages: Italian mother language; proficiency in English (and other languages if applicable) to assist international clientele. Hygiene Standards: Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., HACCP or local health codes).
