A fantastic opportunity with a celebrated, award-winning independent all-day dining restaurant in Dubai's creative arts district - a chef-driven, boutique venue where food, warmth and personality matter as much as speed. We are recruiting an experienced Waiter/Waitress to join a close-knit front-of-house team. As the primary point of contact for guests, you will shape the dining experience from the first greeting to the final bill: reading the table, guiding menu choices, and making every guest feel welcome, important and relaxed. This is a hands-on, high-touch service environment where attention to detail and genuine hospitality are noticed on every shift. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and guide them through the food and beverage offering. Take food and beverage orders, place them accurately with the kitchen, and make confident recommendations and specials suggestions. Deliver dishes to the correct seat numbers, introducing each dish and its main components with detail; check back on guest satisfaction. Stay current on the menu, specials and any item shortages, and handle special requests and guest allergies with care. Prepare and settle bills accurately, take payment and return correct change. Maintain mise en place, cleanliness and floor awareness throughout service - set, clear and reset the section seamlessly. Follow all food-safety and hygiene standards, and uphold grooming and presentation standards. Support colleagues, cover where service dictates, and help coach and train new joiners. Communicate guest feedback promptly to the manager to protect a positive, memorable experience. Immediate start. This is a full-time role working 6 days per week, based in Dubai. Candidates must hold, or be able to obtain, the right to work in the United Arab Emirates; suitably experienced overseas candidates willing to relocate will be considered.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume casual or upscale-casual full-service restaurant. Fluent English, spoken and written. Excellent communication and guest-engagement skills, with confidence in upselling and strong food & beverage knowledge. Ability to stay calm, fast and accurate under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment. Team-oriented, with a strong work ethic, reliability and a professional appearance. High school diploma or equivalent required; a hospitality diploma/degree is an asset. Must hold the right to work in the United Arab Emirates and be available in country.
