Job Description Greet customers warmly and hand out menus. Take meal and beverage orders from customers and accurately relay them to the kitchen. Make menu recommendations and inform patrons about any available specials. Deliver meals and beverages to tables or rooms promptly once prepared. Check in with guests to ensure they are satisfied with their meal. Prepare the bill for tables or rooms when requested. Cash up bills, ensuring the correct amount is received, and administer change if necessary. Exhibit the endurance to walk and stand for long hours during shifts. Maintain flexible work hours to accommodate varying restaurant demands. Remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult customers. Display excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive guest interactions. Demonstrate the coordination needed to carry plates or trays without dropping anything.
