Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be our face day in, day out, offering our guests the best possible service, every single time.

The roles as located in Darwin and priority is given to Darwin residents.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Giving our guests the best experience every time.
  • Serving our guests with an amazing smile, having fun, while recommending some really great food and beverages.
  • Placing orders through the POS
  • Taking payments
  • Assisting in ordering stock in accordance with par levels and the needs of the store
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in controlling expenditures such as Cost Of Employment (COE) through ensuring staffing levels are in alignment with the amount of activity within the store (i.e. sending employees home or on breaks when not busy)
  • Ensure maximum productivity and profitability in the store by giving direction to fellow employees of a lower level
  • Supervision and training of employees of a lower level
  • Report any disciplinary action or praise of employees of a lower level to the Restaurant Manager
  • Perform administrative duties in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager (i.e. collecting invoices, carrying out and recording of food safety requirements)
  • On call for emergencies and any unexpected store or staffing requirements
  • Some incidental/limited additional cleaning duties including washing dishes and tidying dish area
  • Some incidental duties of a lower level Food & Beverage classification.
  • Some bartender knowledge
  • Mixing and or pouring complex drinks when required.
