About the role: The Waiter delivers exceptional, personalized service to guests in alignment with Empiria's Group Standards in the Restaurant / Bar / Lounge areas. This role ensures a warm and professional dining experience by providing attentive service, detailed product knowledge, and seamless collaboration with the F&B team. The Waiter embodies the hotel’s service philosophy, anticipating guest needs and contributing to a refined and memorable dining atmosphere. Key Accountabilities: Describe and present food and beverage menu items to guests in an engaging and knowledgeable manner. Greet guests warmly, seat them promptly, and ensure exceptional service throughout their dining experience. Oversee table setup, maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, and ensure high service standards are consistently met. Manage guest orders, coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all food and beverages. Take and serve food and beverage orders promptly and accurately. Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with efficiency and professionalism, ensuring swift resolution and guest satisfaction. Monitor and manage inventory of dining supplies and beverages, maintain stock levels, and contribute to minimizing waste. Promote and upsell food, beverages, and specialty drinks to enhance guest experience and increase revenue. Ensure implementation of all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Assist with service across various hotel outlets, events, and in-room dining operations as required. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within 5-star hotels or high-volume dining venues. Degree or Diploma in Tourism or a related field. Knowledge of wines; experience in wine tasting is an advantage. Experience using MICROS or other POS systems is an advantage. Excellent command of the English language; additional languages are considered an asset.
