Job Description The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This includes taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages efficiently, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area. Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies). Ensure correct grooming standards are followed at all times Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system. Serve food and drinks promptly, following the restaurant’s service standards. Check on guest satisfaction during their meal and respond promptly to any requests or complaints. Clear tables, reset them for the next guests, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards. Process guest bills accurately and handle payments courteously. Use opening and closing checklist to ensure smooth opening and closing of the venue Qualifications Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar customer service role preferred. Good command of written and spoken English communication skill. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Team player with a customer-focused mindset. Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures. Flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
