Company Description Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort Job Description We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic hospitality team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will deliver exceptional dining experiences by providing prompt, courteous service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring guest satisfaction through efficient and organized service delivery. Greet guests warmly and seat them in designated areas, providing menus and taking drink orders promptly Present menu items with knowledge and enthusiasm, making recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary requirements Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all special requests and modifications are clearly communicated to the kitchen and bar teams Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and temperature standards Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests with professionalism and empathy Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization of assigned station, tables, and service areas at all times Process payments accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions with integrity Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and housekeeping staff to ensure seamless operations and service quality Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations to maintain a safe dining environment Adapt flexibly to changing priorities and peak service periods while maintaining composure and efficiency Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment through supportive communication and cooperation Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall restaurant operations Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in a waiter/waitress or food service role within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality establishment High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in hospitality or food service is preferred Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, menu items, and dining etiquette Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays and service items Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations Multilingual abilities (Arabic and English preferred) to better serve our diverse guest base Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Job-Category: Food & Beverage Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
