JOB DESCRIPTION

The Bond Hotel is a family run hotel set on the south shore of Blackpool providing fully accessible holidays for guests who may have a physical or learning disability for over 35 years. We are the UK’s largest disability friendly hotel.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our dining room team. We need hardworking, outgoing and confident individuals who take great pride in their work.
Work patterns are based on split shifts, working 3-5 days on a 7 day rota, this includes evenings and weekends so you must be flexible. Morning shifts will be 8:00am - 11:30am, and Evening shifts will be 4:30pm - 8:00pm. Finish times on each shift may vary dependant on the businesses needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title: Dining Room Server (Waiter/Waitress)
Main purpose of job:
Prepare tables and buffet for service, greeting guests, serving drinks, assisting guests who require table service, clearing tables, relay tables for next service, clean down at the end of service.
Position reports to:
Dining Room Supervisor / Duty Manager
Location: The Bond Hotel.
Salary: £10.00- £12.21 per hour

Main tasks of job:

  • Preparing buffet stations and laying up any extra tables required for service.
  • Greet guests and show them to their pre-allocated tables.
  • Serving beverages to guests.
  • Be able to serve on the hotels licensed bar.
  • Assist guests who may require table service. Guests may also request food to be cut up or blended.
  • Clearing tables throughout service.
  • Replenish the buffet throughout service.
  • Communicate well with the Reception and Kitchen team.
  • Relay tables for following service once guests have left.
  • Clean down at the end of service following a cleaning checklist.
  • Deep clean duties on departure days.
  • Any other reasonable task as directed by Hotel Managers or Dining Room Supervisor.
