QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· Proven experience as a waiter/waitress in a fine dining restaurant, preferably with knowledge of Indian cuisine
· Excellent knowledge of food and beverage pairings and presentation
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while upholding high standards of service.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role of a waiter or waitress in a restaurant is to ensure that guests have an excellent dining experience by providing stellar customer service. Some of the key responsibilities include greeting and escorting customers to their tables, presenting menus, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, making menu recommendations, answering questions, and ensuring the cleanliness of the dining area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Welcoming guests, guiding them through the menu, and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
· Taking orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests and dietary needs are communicated effectively to the kitchen.
· Serving food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to the restaurant’s service standards
· Demonstrating a strong understanding of the menu items, including ingredients, cooking methods, and flavor profiles
· Collaborating effectively with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
