THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a friendly and competent server at our popular restaurant, Tamburino Gold, to ensure our customers have a memorable Italian dining experience. Since the quality of our service is crucial to success, the ideal candidates will be able to provide superior guest service and ensure the dining experience meets high standards, from the food to the environment. (Must be available weekends)

Key accountabilities:

  • Welcome customers when they arrive at the restaurant and introduce the menu including daily or seasonal menu specials
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene at the premise
  • Take customers’ orders for food and drink
  • Prepare hot and cold drinks and serve them to customers
  • Collect food orders from the kitchen, verify that they are correct, and serve them to customers
  • Ensure that customers are satisfied with their meals
  • Remove used dishes, glasses, and flatware from tables
  • Prepare cheques and process cash and credit card payments and returns change to customers if necessary
  • Set tables with dishes, glasses, and flatware and refill condiments
  • Maintain familiarity with menu items, specials, and restaurant information
  • Any other duties directed by your line manage
