TEA ROOM & RETAIL ASSISTANT

Hebden Tea is a specialist tea shop located on Minster Gates and the Hebden Tea Experience (Tearoom) situated on the Shambles.
This vacancy posting is for the Hebden Tea Tea Room and Shops until the end of the year. Flexibility and your commitment to work in all locations is essential.
Hebden Tea Experience (our tearoom) offers customers the chance to experience our entire catalogue of products according to the specific traditions associated with each tea.
We are looking for energetic, engaging and passionate people to work with us at the Hebden Tea Experience and Hebden Tea Shop.
- You must be local to York.
- Retail experience (sales) desirable.
- Hospitality experience desirable.
- A keen interest in our product range and illustrate the desire to learn more.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent customer service skills and proactivness is essential.
- Physical (able to climb stairs frequently and safely, on delivery; lift heavy boxes when receiving or moving stock between shops).
- Flexibility with working dyas/ hours.

Experience:

• Hospitality: 2 years (required)
• Retail sales: 1 year (required

This position will be until the end of the year with the possibility of being extended.
Full-Time & Part-time position available
