Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests in a fast-paced environment. Your main duties will include greeting and seating customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring an overall pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and escort guests to their tables, present menus, and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods. Provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Order Taking & Delivery: Accurately take food and drink orders, relay them to the kitchen or bar, and ensure timely delivery of meals and beverages.
  • Table Maintenance: Monitor the cleanliness and readiness of tables, promptly clear and reset tables after guests depart, and maintain a neat and organized dining area.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bar personnel, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Upselling: Promote menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
  • Billing & Payment: Present bills to guests, process payments, and handle cash, credit cards, or mobile payments accurately.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other waitstaff, kitchen, and management teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe work environment for both staff and guests.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Friendly and approachable attitude
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, carry trays of food and beverages, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
