Job Description Responsible for correct set up of all tables in the bar Inspect linen and flatware to make certain that all are clean in proper condition before use in service Must know and be able to describe all drinks on menu Receives captain or guest's order for beverages, recommends items to aid guest selections Sells cocktails and wines when possible by suggestion to guests Cleans and polishes Glassware, China ware, hollowware and flatware. Maintains cleanliness and mise-en-place level at working station and service pantry for smooth operation. Replenishes supply of linen and other Operating equipment. Obtains requested items from the storeroom. Keeps general appearance and maintenance of bar working areas. Follows correct sequence of service outlined in the Standard Operating Manual. Cleans all spillage during drink time and at closing. Maintains excellent grooming standard at all times. Prepares & Service drink as assigned by captain Qualifications Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Waitress, preferably in an international hotel chain or midscale hotel and restaurant Strong communication and interpersonal skills with good English proficiency, both verbal and written Good knowledge of food & beverage service standards and dining etiquette Proficiency with POS systems and order-taking procedures Guest-focused with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays Additional Information Novotel Samator Surabaya Timur is conveniently located 20 minutes away by car from Juanda International Airport through the highway and close distance to the industrial area, culinary section, well-known Universities, Shopping center, and other city attractions.
