OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Waitress to join our team. As a Barista/ Waitress, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and attention to detail. QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic maths skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including workstations and dining areas.
• Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Manage customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and helpful service.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer any questions regarding menu items.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the workplace.
