Greet all guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
Guide them to their table and provide menus.
Present menus and offer recommendations on food and beverages.
Accurately record and relay guest orders to the kitchen and bar.
Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner.
Ensure orders are correct and meet guests’ specifications.
Check back with guests to ensure their satisfaction with their meals.
Address any issues or special requests promptly and professionally.
Present bills to guests and process transactions through the POS, including cash and credit card payments.
Manage payments accurately.
Prepare coffee and other requested beverages.
Keep tables, floors, and service areas always clean and organized.
Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave.
Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
Report any health or safety concerns to management.
Handle food and beverage items properly to prevent contamination or spoilage.
Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth operation.
Escalate unresolved issues to management as necessary.
Suggest additional items or promote special F&B promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to address guest inquiries and accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies.
Work closely with the host/hostess to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of guests.
Assist with tracking and managing inventory levels of beverages, condiments, and other F&B items, and report any shortages to management.
Participate in opening and closing duties, including setting up service stations, polishing glassware, and ensuring all areas are ready for the next shift.
Exhibit professional behavior at all times, representing the venue with a high level of service and hospitality.
To consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ensuring proper endorsement and seamless transitions between shifts, supporting team efficiency, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Maintain a proper hygiene and polished appearance, adhering to the hotel’s uniform standards.
