Job Summary:
As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests in both the bar and restaurant areas. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure an enjoyable dining experience for patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting guests warmly as they enter the establishment and escorting them to their tables.
Presenting menus and providing recommendations on food and drink selections.
Taking accurate orders for food and beverages from customers and ensuring special dietary needs or preferences are noted.
Transmitting food and drink orders to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring timely service.
Checking the quality and accuracy of orders before serving them to guests.
Delivering meals and drinks to tables, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
Refilling drinks, clearing empty plates, and attending to additional requests as needed.
Handling cash and card payments, processing bills accurately, and providing change when necessary.
Maintaining a clean and organized dining area, including setting up and clearing tables.
Assisting with menu explanations, daily specials, and promotions.
Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and attentiveness.
Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate the timing of orders.
Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment.
Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Preparing tables for the next guests and ensuring all dining areas are well-maintained.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menu items.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service (for bar waiter roles).
• Prior experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
