Overview We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Waitstaff to join our team. As a member of our dining services team, you will play a key role in providing excellent service and creating a welcoming, dining experience for our senior residents. Responsibilities Greet and assist residents in a courteous and professional manner during meal times. Serve meals to residents according to dietary guidelines and special requests. Set tables, clear dishes, and ensure the dining room is clean and organized. Assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents' rooms when needed. Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate meal orders and requests are met. Ensure that dining areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained at all times. Respond to resident requests and special needs with a helpful and friendly attitude. Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to ensure safe meal service. Assist with other tasks as needed to support the dining services department. Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. Must possess a Food Handler’s Card or obtain within 30 days from hire. Previous experience in waitstaff, food service, or hospitality is preferred. A passion for working with seniors and providing excellent customer service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and sanitation procedures. Ability to lift, carry, and serve food trays as required. A friendly, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents, employees and visitors. Benefits: Free meal each shift.
