JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will assist with daily living activities and contribute to the development and implementation of care plans tailored to each individual’s needs.

SKILLS

• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents and team members.
• Ability to drive is advantageous for roles involving home care services.
• Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with creating or following care plans is beneficial for delivering personalised support.
• IT skills are useful for maintaining records and communicating within the team.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role.

• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the residents’ conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Engage in meaningful conversations and activities with residents to enhance their quality of life.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety regulations.
