JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for all residents.

SKILLS

• Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to care plans.

• Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support residents in daily activities including meal preparation and feeding.
• Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions.
• Drive to various locations if required for home care visits or appointments.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
