JOB SUMMARY

Not Just Care are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our customers in their own homes. This role requires effective communication skills, a good understanding of care plans, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with patients and team members.
  • Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting patients as needed.
  • Basic IT skills to manage patient records and documentation efficiently.
  • A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support.

  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress in accordance with care plans.
  • Support healthcare professionals in delivering medical treatments and therapies as required.
  • Drive patients to appointments or assist them in accessing community resources when necessary.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to IT systems used for patient documentation and care management.
