Children’s Home Lymington is recruiting for Waking Night Support Workers now! We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team. In this role, you will support our young people and you will be required to be alert and observant at all times. In addition to regular checks on the children and young people you will be assigned additional tasks.
A LEVEL 3 QUALIFICATION IN CHILDREN’S RESIDENTIAL AND CHILDCARE IS ESSENTIAL, AS WELL AS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITHIN A RESIDENTIAL CHILDCARE SETTING ALONG WITH THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERISTICS:
Resilience We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.
Communication Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication play a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
