We have a position opening for a full-time (36.75 hrs. per week on average), Waking Nights Mental Health Support Worker/night security to join our team based in Bristol, but also covering periodic shifts in Weston-super-Mare . When working in Bristol, staff are also required to cover two nightly rounds by car. At the Weston site, staff will provide in-house/on-site cover & CCTV monitoring. - All our staff work on 2-weekly rolling rotas, with this position currently covering 7 shifts over two weeks, including weekends, worked between 21:45 - 08:15.
A full, clean driving licence and relevant driving experience are essential for the position. - We have company cars for work-based travel, but also pay a competitive mileage allowance for staff using their own car for work trips (by prior agreement and subject to adequate personal business use insurance cover).

The main duties of the waking nights role will include monitoring CCTV screens, driving by our sites 1-2 times throughout the night for a security/welfare check (Bristol only), being available for any overnight emergencies, as well as associated tasks such as cleaning and paperwork.
Salary/Contract: permanent contract; hourly pay £13.93, or £26,620.23 per year for this position (based on f/t 36.75 hrs.).
